Mesura: every residence on the facade, with its light and its payment plan

Fictional business. This concept shows how the studio works; it isn't a client project and has no results to report.

Mesura

The problem

Pre-sales run on one render and a price-list PDF. Buyers ask about what the render doesn't say — which floor, which orientation, how much sun, how much a month — and the answer arrives on WhatsApp, typed by hand and without context.

The idea

A site for an 18-residence tower over six levels where each unit is chosen on the facade itself, shows how many hours of direct sun it gets by season, and builds its own pre-sale plan, which reaches the sales advisor with the unit, plan and visit source already written in.

What's built

  • Facade selector: a Blender render with each residence's exact area projected from the 3D model, in day and night versions; at night only sold or reserved units are lit.
  • “Your unit's light”: 81 renders (three unit types, three seasons, nine hours) with the sun position computed for Mexico City's latitude using the NOAA algorithm, plus hours of direct sun per unit and level.
  • Filterable inventory table and a link of its own for each residence (?u=).
  • Pre-sale calculator — reservation, down payment, monthly instalments and payment on delivery — that writes a WhatsApp message with the unit, the plan and the visit source (UTM).
  • Printable sheet per residence, an illustrative note on the NOM-247 standard, and GSAP and Lenis animation. The site is in Spanish only.

What's a mock-up

  • The tower, prices, inventory, team, documents and construction schedule are fictional, and the site says so. Delivery in Q4 2028 is part of the fiction.
  • The hero images are AI-generated renders, colour-graded; the facade and sun-study renders come from a 3D model made for the concept, not from a real project.
  • The WhatsApp message goes to LiffeyLabs' own number; there are no real advisors, reservations or payments behind it.

What it shows

  • Answering with computed data the question a render can't: how much sun each unit gets.
  • A funnel that hands the advisor a message with the unit, the payment plan and the visit source, instead of “hi, price?”.
  • A 3D production pipeline — modelling, GPU rendering and areas projected from the model — serving an interface people can actually use.
