MVP development: a first version you can already learn from

An MVP isn't a pretty prototype or half a product. It's the smallest version a real user can use to solve their problem, and it tells you whether to keep going. We design, code and deploy that first version, on a codebase that can grow instead of being thrown away.

When it makes sense

  • The idea and the kind of user are clear, but there's nothing they can use yet.
  • You've spent months on designs or documents and nothing is in production.
  • A no-code prototype hit its limits and needs to be built properly.
  • You need to show something working to customers, partners or investors.

What we build

Scope definition
What goes into the first version and what waits, based on what the user needs to do.
Product design
Flows and screens designed for the main use case, not every case at once.
Web application
User accounts, data, payments or integrations, depending on what the product needs to work.
Deployment and measurement
In production, in your accounts, with what you need to see how it's used.
A base to grow on
Clean, documented code so the next version starts from here.

When not to build

Building isn't always the answer. If that's your case, we'll tell you before the proposal.

  • If you don't yet know who the user is or which problem you solve, talk to users before writing code.
  • If it can be validated with a spreadsheet, a form or a no-code tool, start there.

How it starts

  1. 01What you needWhat the software must do and who will use it.
  2. 02What exists todayIf something is running, what it's built with and what stays.
  3. 03Scope and timingWhat goes into the first version and what can wait.
  4. 04Written proposalScope, deliverables and cost. No commitment.

What stays in your name

  • The code repository, in your account from the first commit.
  • The deployment and database, in your cloud accounts.
  • No proprietary platform or licence: if you work with another team tomorrow, they take everything.
